NASA Welcomes New Artemis Accords Signatory, Announces New Telescope

This week, NASA welcomed Côte d’Ivoire as the newest signatory to the Artemis Accords, as reported on September 24, 2026. NASA also announced a new space telescope, PRIMA, scheduled to launch in 2033, and selected a far-infrared telescope as the first in a new mission class on September 23, 2026. The Roman Space Telescope continues to near launch, with experts available for interviews. In other news, SpaceX stacked Starship and Super Heavy for their first orbital flight on September 23, 2026.
